School will not be in session May 28 in observance of Memorial Day
Music concerts
The kindergarten spring music concert will take place at 10:45 a.m. for the A.M. class and at 2:15 p.m. for the P.M. class May 30 at South School. The second grade music concert will take place at 2:10 p.m. May 31 at South School.
Mini book fair
West School will hold a mini book fair for summer reading for all Glencoe kindergarten-eighth grade students June 1.
Special days
The last day of kindergarten will be June 7; fourth quarter report cards will be released June 8; and the last day of school for first-eighth grade will be at 8:20 a.m. June 8.
As part of a PTO fundraiser, school supplies can be ordered by visiting www.epipacks.com and entering the school code GLE201 then typing “NA” when prompted to enter the teacher’s name.
Eighth grade graduation
Those interested in baking for the eighth grade graduation should contact Helene Stelian at hstelian@comcast.net. Volunteers are being sought to help decorate the gym at 12:30 June 4. Those who are interested should contact Debbie Schreier at debschreier@yahoo.com.
