In unofficial returns, 1,508 of 1,761 voters — 86 percent — gave their village the go-ahead to move forward. The Village had planned a special Village Board meeting on Wednesday, March 21, in which decisions such as which supplier to choose, and what percentage of renewable energy is appropriate to pay extra for, were likely to be settled, but that meeting has since been cancelled.
