Updated: July 23, 2012 6:08AM
The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Glencoe Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination. All court appearances are at the courthouse at 5600 Old Orchard Road, Skokie, unless otherwise noted.
THEFT
A caddy at Lakeshore Country Club, 1255 Sheridan Road, reported falling asleep June 14 with his Droid telephone on his lap. The $499 phone was gone when he awakened an hour later.
ALCOHOL
Four passengers of a car stopped in Glencoe late June 14 were all ticketed with underage drinking. Conor M. Hirsch, 2230 Birchwood Ave., Wilmette; Malcolm P. Hirsch, 718 Laurel Ave., Wilmette; John D. Dixon, 1539 Lake Avenue, Wilmette; and John Uhland, 2211 Cottonwood Drive, Glenview, are all 18. The driver, Patrick Butler, 1500 Highland Ave., also 18, was charged with speeding and driving with open alcohol in the car. A can of beer had reportedly been found in the back seat area after the car was curbed at Green Bay Road and Harbor Street.
Moe J. Gorsline, 56, of 1544 Heather Court, Wheeling, was charged Sunday night with drunk driving and a traffic offense after being curbed at Green Bay and Westley roads. He posted $1,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court Aug. 1.
BATTERY
William L. Nickel, 60, 232 Woodlawn Ave., was charged June 14 with domestic battery, accused of punching a family member twice on limbs, then making a threat of more serious violence. He was taken to bond court Friday, after spending the night in the lockup, and was expected to appear in court Tuesday. No one required hospitalization.
TRESPASSING
Dylan G. Siegal, 20, of 2069 Old Willow Road, Northfield; Alexander Wislow, 20, of 735 Sheridan Road, Winnetka, and Alyssa Campbell, 19, possibly of California, were ticketed June 12 for trespassing on Dell Place beach a half hour after the 7 p.m. closing time.
