Chicago Botanic Garden showcasing students’ art

The Chicago Botanic Garden will be showcasing select works from its talented group of student artists in the “Drawn from Nature: Sixth Annual Student Botanical Arts Exhibition” Oct. 5-21.

The botanical arts program offers instruction on a wide spectrum of art genres and Botanical Art certificate programs are available to anyone, regardless of art experience.

An opening reception for will be held from 6-8 p.m. Oct. 5, from 6-8 p.m. in the Joutras Gallery of the Regenstein Center at Chicago Botanic Garden.

Admission to the Chicago Botanic Garden is free. Select event fees apply. Parking is $20 per car; free for Garden members. For information about Garden programs and events, call (847) 835-5440, or visit www.chicagobotanic.org.
