Maggie Lyon of Wilmette was nominated to McDonald’s All American High School Basketball Girls Team. Lyon celebrated her achievement with family, teammates and friends March 19 at the Winnetka McDonald’s. Maggie Lyon was one of 600 high school females nationwide to be nominated to the 2012 McDonald’s All American High School Basketball Girls Team. She was nominated for this great honor based on her hard work, skill, and teamwork on the basketball court and in the classroom.

Lyon greeted everyone and autographed McDonald’s I’m Lovin It shirts for family, teammates and friends in attendance. The IncrediBulls were also there to celebrate with Lyon. The IncrediBulls played games and had a great time with everyone that came to celebrate at McDonald’s in Winnetka. Also in attendance were many representatives from the Chicago Sky, as well as their very talented mascot, Sky Guy. Sky Guy entertained everyone and made very special balloons for many in attendance. Lyon will be going to Northwestern on a Basketball Scholarship next fall.

Winnetka McDonald’s owner/operators, Mark and Jenny Freeman were proud to host this event for Lyon.
