Groups of Lutheran Church of the Ascension volunteers, friends and neighbors work one Saturday each month with Habitat for Humanity in Lake Country June through November. They help build decent, affordable homes for families in need while empowering those families to help themselves.

This year the group will meet at 7 a.m. on the third Saturday of each month through November in Ascension’s parking lot at 460 Sunset Ridge Road. Volunteers must be 16 years or older. Prior experience is not needed. To register, call the church office at (847) 446-8335.
