Winnetka Park District holds annual run

The Winnetka Park District will hold its annual Firecracker 5K Race and 1 and a half mile Family Fun Run/Walk at 8 a.m. June 30 taking off from Village Green at Maple and Elm Avenues. Runners may register at the Winnetka Park District office at 540 Hibbard Road by June 27 for $20. The cost is $25 for day of registration. Awards will be given for overall male and female winners and individual age group winners. The fun run/walk is a free event and pre-registration is not required. The run/walk will take off at 8:15 a.m. For more information, call (847) 501-2040.
