More Dell Place Beach discussions in Glencoe

The members of Glencoe’s Street Ends Task Force are expected to take up the issue of parking near Dell Place beach at their next meeting, now scheduled for 7 p.m. Feb. 7 at Glencoe Village Hall, 675 Village Court.

Residents of the area and other interested parties will be able to tell the panel whether parking should be restricted, to control visits to the beach, keep traffic down, or for other reasons.

The next two meetings have been scheduled, too — Feb. 29 and March 14, at the same place and time.

The task force was commissioned by the Glencoe Village Board late last year to recommend options for access to Glencoe’s street-end beaches and other issues involving the relatively small village-owned properties along Lake Michigan.
