F1. The Newberry Consort presents “Celestial Sirens” at 3 p.m. Jan. 22 at Northwestern University’s Alice Millar Chapel, 1870 Sheridan Road, Evanston. 2.“Black Pearl Sings!”, through Feb. 19 at Northlight Theatre, located at the North Shore Center for the Performing Arts, 9501 Skokie Blvd, Skokie. Featuring a cappella renditions of rare American folk songs, the play tells the Depression-era story of two women dependent on one another to gain acceptance in a divided society. 3. “Under the Streetlamp,” a concert by the four original Chicago cast members of “Jersey Boys,” the story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, will be at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 21 at the Adlai Stevenson High School Performing Arts Center, 1 Stevenson Drive, Lincolnshire. The quartet performs music of the ‘60s, including rock, doo-wop ditties, Motown melodies and Rat Pack favorites, accompanied by jazz musicians. Tickets are $40; $80 for VIP tickets and reception.
