2. Marsha Foxgrover, music faculty member at College of DuPage and organist at Wheaton Bible Church, will perform a free organ recital at 1:30 p.m. June 25 at Presbyterian Homes Westminster Place campus, Elliott Chapel, 3131 Simpson (Golf) Road, Evanston. 3. “Time After Time: The Songs of Jule Styne,” presented by Theo Ubique Cabaret Theatre through July 29 at the No Exit Cafe, 6970 N. Glenwood (Rogers Park), Chicago. During the golden age of Broadway and Hollywood musicals, composer Jule Styne created songs that prompted Frank Sinatra to remark, “... his song list reads like the history of American popular music.” Performances at 7:30 p.m. Thursdays, June 21, 28, July 5, 12, 19, 26; 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, July 20-21, 27-28; and 7 p.m. Sundays, July 1, 8, 15, 22, 29. 4. An opening reception for “Visiting Hours,” wall installations by Tyanna Buie, will be held from 6-8 p.m. June 26 at the Dittmar Memorial Gallery at Northwestern University’s Norris Center, 1999 Campus Drive, Evanston. The exhibit, highlighting her uncle’s life in the prison system, is on display through Aug. 9. The works are created from childhood objects, photos and other family memorabilia.
