Harold Ramis remembered at a private funeral service in Glencoe

A private service was held for Harold Ramis in Glencoe on Wednesday. According to the Chicago Tribune:

Colleagues spanning Harold Ramis’ career from Second City to Hollywood — as well as some prominent politicians and in one case both — turned out to mourn the late director-writer-actor at a private funeral service Wednesday in Glencoe, a representative of the family said.

Dan Aykroyd, who co-wrote and co-starred in “Ghostbusters” with Ramis, was at North Shore Congregation Israel with wife Donna Dixon, as were Chevy Chase, star of Ramis’ “Caddyshack” and “National Lampoon’s Vacation,” with his wife, Jayni.
